We want to let everyone in on a little secret….Jezzabelle hopefully will be having a litter of puppies around Thanksgiving. Nothing has been confirmed by the Vet but she was bred to Leo earlier this month. Belle surprised us by coming into heat early. She was due to come into heat until December timeframe but who are we to argue with Mother Nature?
As many of you know, Leo is black and Belle is dark brindle so we should have some more black puppies and a good possibility of fawns. Both Leo and Belle have fawn in their background.
We will keep everyone posted. If anyone is interested in being put on the list of potential puppy families just let us know. If all goes well the puppies would be ready for their new homes around February of 2011.

Not to be out done by his brothers (
Houdini and
Egor) or sister (
Heffala), Jethro (
2007 litter) passed his
Canine Good Citizen test. It took some work and determination to help Jethro understand that he does not have to constantly be on “high alert” when it comes to a strange dog walking toward us with their owner, but he did it!! That was his single biggest challenge. Being on the farm most of the time, it was difficult for Jethro to allow other dogs to walk up to us while he sat quietly by my side.
It just goes to show that with some work and commitment you can work through any individual challenge your Bouvier may have. Remember this is a very intelligent breed and loves to learn. So get out there and have some fun working together with your dog and achieving this certification (PDF file).
Congratulations Jethro !!!!

Mohr Bouviers is extremely excited to announce Egor (
2007 litter) passed his
Canine Good Citizen test. Thanks to Kay and Dave for all their hard work and dedication to their dog. Kay and Dave have taken Egor to Raspberry Ridge training facility since he was a puppy and this past weekend took him back to take the Canine Good Citizen test. It is no surprise to us that he passed with flying colors.
This just further verifies the commitment our extended family has to this wonderful breed. We couldn’t be more proud of all of our dogs and especially of those who have gone the extra mile to be a Canine Good Citizen.
Congratulations Kay and Dave and especially EGOR!!!!
