CGC Titles – January 2013

January 24th, 2013 · 3 Comments · Latest News & Litters

I am pleased to announce we have five new Canine Good Citizens joining the ranks. Each of these pairs worked very hard to achieve this goal.

First we have Amanda Hadley and Phoebe. Amanda and Phoebe have shown their ability to do fly ball and decided to try for Phoebe’s CGC title. Well that goal was met with much success. The pair did an excellent job completing and passing all 10 points of the test.

Next we have Valentine Croft and her Bouvier, Reagan. As some of you may remember Reagan was brought back to us from her original owner. Valentine came over to meet Reagan and it was love at first sight! Well the CGC test proved to be no problem for this pair.

Next we have another Bouvier that needed to be re-homed due to her owner’s health issues. Molly lives with Kay and Dave and her Bouvier brother Egor (already a CGC). Dave and Molly took the CGC test and passed without any trouble.

Our next pair to pass the CGC test may not be a Bouvier but is just as mighty and is part of the Herding Group. We have Angela and her Miniature Australian Shepherd Mars. Mars has come an incredibly long way from the first time I met her in Beginner Class. She was afraid of children, other people and many dogs. To watch her overcome her fear and not only take this test but pass it with no problem warmed my heart.

And our last of this group is a very dynamic couple, Sarah and Pyro. Pyro was the youngest puppy I have tested for their CGC title. But I am proud to say after all of Sarah’s hard work with Pyro he passed flawlessly.

To say we are proud of these four wonderful Bouviers and one Honorary Bouvier would be an understatement. It shows what dedication and hard work can do and what joy it can bring to you. Anyone interested in the CGC program sponsored by AKC, please let me know. I can test your dog and help you train your dog to take the CGC test.

To say we are proud of this group is an understatement.

Congrats to ALL the bouviers and THANK YOU Linda & Karl for letting Mars participate as an “honorary bovier.” She has come so far due to your training methods, guidance, and general friendship. We are also VERY proud of our little girl.
